GO/office

Starting in 2017 I have been heading up a small business located at 1760 Market Street in Philadelphia. It was not a far twist for me to see myself in this position as I started a company called TechnologyPro many years back. With this opportunity, I will have the infrastructure in place to jump in and grow a business. I was excited by the opportunity.

What is GO/office? G/o helps companies plan and achieve a move when changing their physical location no matter the location (In late 2018 we moved a company from Washington DC). In short, we help the company with the arduous task of moving People, Furniture Fixtures Equipment to a new location and we assist with closing up and delivering the old space back to building management. Along the way, we report back to management where the process is and what is to be expected.

G/o is in a position to help its customers save time though efficiency (our cultivated checklist), save money though our partnerships (we moved or assisted +30 companies in 2019), and save stress with our extra manpower (extra employee). In essence, we bring a team of knowledgable staff to manage and achieve a stress-free move for your organization.

2017 – 2019

Our first client under the “new era” was a company that has been supplying heating oils and service to its customers since 1945. F.C. Haab moved from 29th and Market to Bala Cynwyd and it was an eye-opener to what I will be doing in the future. It opened my eyes to what companies faced moving from one building to another. Slowly G/o created a customer base that allowed us to develop our brand. Under my direction, we created vital business deliverables to cultivate sales and double revenue each year from 2016 to 2019. After the 2017 slow start, we worked with companies like Birch Run Financial, Contemporary Staffing Solutions, and Halo Labs. We started 2019 off with helping move ALM media, they own the Legal Intelligencer one of if the not oldest law periodical in the nation. As we moved more and more companies our relationships grew and we started to use the same vendors that we have had success with. Two such companies were Hyopsys and Kershner Office Furniture. With their help, we were able to support companies like the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and the National Association of Water Companies. By the end of the year, we were set to assist our largest move project to date. PREIT is one of the first Real Estate Investment Trusts founded in 1960 that owns and operates malls across the country, and G/o was about to assist them with moving to their new office space in 2005 Market St. 2020 looked so promising

COVID-19

As of April 22, 2020 everything is shut down and there is a stay at home order mandated by the state of Pennsylvania. Our Governor Tom Wolf has said that if the trends continue we could see the state lighten restriction around May 8th. We have been on lockdown since March 9th, 2020, over a month of social distancing. I am not sure what the future holds but I do know this pandemic is taking a toll on all businesses in the country. Who knows what will come from the slow start in 2020 and no business for 2 months. I do know that GO/office will be here when the business comes back and again that excites me. Please reach out to me below if you are facing a move and have questions. Phone calls are free and I am here to help.
